The Roy Blunt Luminary Park project partners are excited to share that the project is poised to move from planning to delivery, starting with a phased approach for construction, creating momentum for the project while responsibly working through infrastructure and fundraising strategies.

Upon City Council approval of Ordinance 260718, construction for Phase One is expected to begin later this year, marking a major milestone that turns Luminary Park from a plan into a physical reality. This phase of construction will require a combination of city, federal, state and private funds to complete. It includes advanced infrastructure systems that make a future tunnel and deck possible, as well as construction of the park on Block One, positioning the project for the future. 

Phase One of Luminary Park is the cornerstone of the project. In the meantime, fundraising will continue for Phase Two, which will complete the project as originally envisioned. This effort will breathe new life into the heart of the city, reconnecting communities and reclaiming space for residents.
