About the Roy Blunt Luminary Park
The Roy Blunt Luminary Park (formerly the South Loop Project) is a sustainable urban park over I-670 linking adjacent communities, and a collaborative effort led by the City of Kansas City, the Downtown Council, and Port KC. As a public green space and state-of-the-art destination park, it may include features such as accessible play spaces, public entertainment forums, multimodal transportation options and more. Once complete, the 5.5-acre park will serve as a landmark green space featuring inclusive play areas, entertainment amenities, and multimodal transportation options.
The project team includes HNTB, OJB, BNIM, and vital key stakeholders, with Clarkson Construction and JE Dunn serving as Construction Management/General Contractor.
